After a welcome message, you will be asked to enter the 7-digit PIN which you have received after your registration.<\/p>\n

Be careful to check if your phone is set to Dual-Tone Multifrequency (DTMF), which enables keyboard entries via phone. (It is generally standard for modern telephones to be set to DTMF.)<\/p>\n

After entering the correct PIN you will be rerouted to your audio conference. We will delete the PIN automatically if the free audio conference room remains inactive for more than 12 months. In this case you will receive an email reminder beforehand. You can always request a new PIN by signing up on our website again.<\/p>\n

With the meetgreenPlus rate your PIN is valid as long as your contract is active. This means that all participants can speak. Because of this, it is important to make sure that the phone call is conducted in a quiet room because background noise can potentially disrupt the transmission.<\/p>\n

If your phone is set to Dual-Tone Multifrequency (DTMF), participants can mute their line using the key command *6 to mute and unmute their line.<\/p>\n

The meetgreen audio conference service can be accessed via a free landline dial-in \u00a0030 – 868 757 5512<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0and the donation number\u00a001805 – 53 53 531<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0which is linked to a small fee. Using the landline causes the same costs as a local call to Berlin. If you have a telephone flat-rate the calls will be free of charge.<\/p>\n

Important note for 1&1- customers: <\/strong>1&1 bills “connections to service providers that use geographical landlines” with 2,9 cents\/ minute (VAT included). These costs become effective even when 1&1 connects the customer with our free meetgreen access number.<\/p>\n

Important note for E-Plus und o2-customers: <\/strong>These providers seriously “limit” the accessibility of the free meetgreen dial-in landline – it may even be impossible to join an audio conference at all. Furthermore,\u00a0o2<\/strong>\u00a0currently bills 9 cents\/minute (VAT included) for connections via the meetgreen land line, as it is not treated as a standard domestic call (which means that it is not included in landline flatrates).<\/p>\n

Important note for Vodafone-customers:\u00a0<\/strong>If you are using Vodafone, your audio conference may be interrupted after 30 minutes, requiring you to dial-in once more.<\/p>\n

The donation number costs 14 cents per minute (VAT included) if you are calling from a German landline. If you use a mobile network provider, rates may vary. Please contact your provider to find out more about their rates in cases such as these.<\/p>\n

For each conference participant who uses the donation number, 1 cent per minute will be donated to German environmental projects.<\/p>\n

Users of meetgreenPlus are billed a monthly rate of 14.90 \u20ac. This rate counts for each conference room that is created by a meetgreenPlus user. A donation rate of 1\u20ac per month\/ per conference room will be collected and donated to German environmental projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you would like to start a web conference, you have two options<\/p>\n

2. select\u00a0“I am the moderator”<\/p>\n

If your browser is not webRTC-compatible, you will be offered the option of downloading the web conference application. Start the application after downloading it and select “I am the moderator.” If you have already downloaded the application it should start up automatically without initiating another download.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Enter your moderator-PIN and click “start.”<\/p>\n

You meeting will commence and you will be able to share your screen or invite additional participants.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How do I invite participants?” tab_id=”1499412597879-afa40687-d565″][vc_column_text]Use the sidebar on the right-hand side to find the invitation tool. You have two possibilities:<\/p>\n

You can copy the conference link and paste it into an email or another program in order to share it with your intended participants. This unique link allows participants to join the conference without necessitating a PIN. Participants simply have to enter their name.<\/p>\n

The moderator has the option to allow any of the participants to become a presenter, which enables them to share their screen or an application. As long as a new presenter is authorized, the moderator cannot hold the presenter role. The new presenter will be notified of his status change.<\/p>\n

Revoke a presenter authorization:<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the moderator you have the ability to remove the current presenter’s authorization without his or her assistance.<\/p>\n

Remove a participant:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can use letters and digits for the new title.
